Foundation and Service pitting
At Boreworx, we are able to ascertain the depth of building foundations (down to 1.2m maximum) through the use of a hand-excavated trial pit. As well as pitting for foundations, we can undertake the digging of a pit, prior to drilling, to reduce the risk of hitting services that may not be detected through conventional scanning techniques. We use plastic trays to place the spoil onto, to give a clearer picture of the ground as it is extracted.
